ACTIVITY / HISTORY FINDINGS EMF /TEMPERATURE Base readings were taken as follows. During the
investigation we recorded an emf of 6.3 mg when Paul was getting
loud in Houghton's room. Later on in the investigation we had
some interactive EMF activity recorded by Marc Tetlow with a KII
meter in the cellar. To see a brief movie of that activity click

TEMPERATURE
Initial temperatures were as recorded in the table above. During the investigation Paul asked Mary to drop the temperature in her room and it went from 62 at the start down to 45 eventually. He left the room and returned a short time later to find the temperature had gone back up. A similar experience happened in Whitter's room where we got the temperature to drop from 66.6 to 58.9 and it also returned to near the previous temperature a short time later. The temperature outside remained nearly the same during the investigation.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCES
Peter Marino strongly felt someone saying "Cynthia" although we haven't found an reference to anyone of that name involved with the Houghton Mansion. At various times during the night investigators saw lights flash and what appeared to be flashlights when no one with a flashlight was present. One at least one occasion that night we saw a light going against the normal air flow in Mary's room. We also had the experience referenced under EMF'/TEMPERATURE above.
CONCLUSIONS
All in all we had a fun time investigating the always exciting Houghton Mansion and look forward to some time in the future having the occasion to investigate further.
