K-II Modification

The K-II Meter Modification:

We modify K-II meters for folks who don't want to do it themselves.  We use either a standard toggle switch or a low profile toggle switch.  The switch eliminates the chance of a false positive indication by keeping the unit on without having to press the thumb button.  When the toggle switch is turned off, the K-II unit functions as an unmodified K-II meter. 

The K-II Meter Modification Process: If you would like us to modify your K-II meter here are the steps:

  1. Make sure your K-II meter has a fresh battery and is operating normally.  We will return any non-working K-II meters and not perform the modification.

  2. E-mail Us  poleskiewicz@cbghosthunters.com This will give us a chance to schedule you and make sure we have the parts in stock.

     
  3. Arrange payment for the modification.  The charge to modify a K-II meter is $20.  We accept PayPal and Postal Money Orders.
  4. Ship us your K-II meter.  Your meter will be tested to insure it is in working order.  The meter will be modified and tested again and sent back to you on the next business day after your scheduled modification date (or sooner when possible).
